Thanksgiving

Yeah, I know- Thanksgiving was over a week ago, but I am just getting to it. I've been busy- Thanksgiving, settling back in the house :-) , Trying to empty the P.O.D.S. in the front yard, trying to figure out what to do with a mess of stuff that is not coming back in the house, a nephews birthday, a 15th birthday(daughter), a 50th birthday(a good friend) & family singing at the Disneyland Candle light celebration. Whew....
So, Thanksgiving..... What do I say? What do I say, or how should I feel when close members of the family would rather stay home alone than join the celebration at my house?
Thanksgiving was fun, nice & relaxing - but lacking family members who chose to avoid a holiday meant to bring families together, meant to help families reflect on the year and share what they are thankful for, meant to be a time to buildup & strengthen families, meant to grow together.
They were missed.
However, they did send an unmistakable message to the rest of the family about their priorities & the importance of family. What a bummer for all of us.

I hope your Thanksgiving was as awesome and wonderful as it could have been, filled with fun, family & friends.
Speak up, leave a comment.... let us know :-)
