Party

 On Saturday we (the Family) were invited to a birthday party at the Aquatic center. I'd never been there before. I'd heard rumors and stories about the shear awesome-ness of this city facility, but had not crossed the threshold.
After 2 hours of running (swimming) around playing with all my kids and 1 adult friend, I was wiped out. I participated in about 30 water slide races and several turns under the giant bucket.
The aquatic center has multiple pools & play areas. There are 3 separate heated pools, 2 for just swimming and 1 that has the play structure & water slides. The play structure is similar to one found in a public park, except it adds a healthy dose of h2o to the mix. The water slides are fun, descent. They are no raging waters, but enough to throw you around and dump you into the pool.
The aquatic center was the perfect way to spend a cold February afternoon. If you're looking for a place to swim or play OR if you are looking for a facility to rent for a party or other celebration, try the aquatic center. Fun for all ages and water comfortableness.
