This is the world from my view this afternoon. I held out as long as possible, but have succumbed to that which has cursed my happy dozen for a week now. I am the eighth to be tackled by the black death, so far. As of yet, since I do no consume the morning meal, I have avoided bowing to the porcelain receptacle. However, the rebellion my digestive tract is attempting on the rest of my being is reprehensible. As far as I can tell, I am prevailing against this slow march to death, but I am well aware that circumstances can change at any moment. For now, with all my being, we resist this attempt at incapacitation as we watch for the traps and snares set by a desperate and underhanded enemy. If I am captured or killed by this unrelenting force of evil black death, then know that I did not go down without a fight. And, for those of you men who have survived and vanquished this, seemingly, immortal enemy, I salute you!
Farewell and Godspeed to you, my brave and worthy men, may we meet again on this side of Heaven.
